ANDY COLTART
Andy is the creative visionary behind the philosophy, plantings, access and site locations of Te Weka.
His background is in architecture and property development both in Hawke’s Bay and in other desirable locations around New Zealand.
He is perhaps most renowned for the development of Black Barn Vineyards not far away from Te Weka. As well as the landscaping, commercial buildings and residential dwellings within the Black Barn property, Andy also designed and managed the building of many of the seventeen luxury retreats that are part of the Black Barn Retreat portfolio spread around the region. www.andycoltart.com

Andy is hugely passionate about Te Weka, and has also hand planted many of the thousands of young trees that are being established there himself.

Andy’s son, Will is the development manager for Te Weka.
A career project manager, Will is responsible for realising the vision on behalf on the shareholders. He has designed and supervised the construction of the roading, access ways, services, bike and walking trails at Te Weka, and is responsible for the day to day activities of Te Weka.. Past projects include the neighbouring Euchre Farm in the Tuki Tuki Valley, and East Rd in Haumoana.
JONATHAN McHARDY
Jonathan is from a long established Hawke’s Bay family and first saw the potential for Te Weka twenty years ago when he purchased the iconic Craggy Range land from Carter Holt Harvey. Jonathan retired from banking in 2015 ,having worked in senior roles in both London and New York, and since then he has been living primarily in New Zealand and actively investing in local agriculture and property.
His Hawkes Bay property projects include Euchre Farm in the Tuki Tuki Valley and the Joll Rd Precinct in Havelock North.
